Our High Adventure Camp 2013 was a success. We had a lot of fun, learned valuable lessons, laughed together, prayed together, cooked together, and ate together.We camped in Zion's National Park the first day and hiked to Emerald Pools. The second day we conquered Fat Man's Misery Canyon. This required courage, grit, rappelling gear, orienteering skills, and a lot of water.
We had a one night stop over in a hotel in Panguitch on our way to Escalante where we camped at Posey Lake. There, we enjoyed a beautiful view, caught pet snakes, and enjoyed the lake.On our last day, we hiked to Upper Calf Creek Falls and enjoyed swimming in the beautiful natural pools and waterfalls.
